Often referred to as the “dancing bear” for its ability to stand on their hind legs with ease, the moon bear is distinguished by its long black fur and a yellow crescent across its chest. These omnivores are found across Asia, living in heavily forested mountains, hills, and tropical rainforests spanning from Pakistan to Japan. Unfortunately, the moon bear population faces extinction due to habitat loss through deforestation, human exploitation, and illegal hunting, with bear bile being an ingredient used in traditional Chinese medicine.

The monarch butterfly’s bright orange and black coloring is more than just its identifiable exterior—it actually indicates to predators that the butterflies are inedible due to their diet of toxic milkweed. Sensitive to weather and climate, monarch butterflies migrate between 1,200 and 2,800 miles over the course of two months, spending the warm summer months in Canada and North America, then migrating to the forests of Central Mexico to hibernate for the winter. Due to a loss of habitat in forests, herbicide use, and climate change, the monarch butterfly is at risk.

I'm in love my Red Panda perfume. Not only does it smell great on, but I love that it's also for a good cause. Can't wait to try the Leopard scent as well soon.
